This homeowner reached out to us after noticing musty odors and discoloration on their CMU block walls. We started with moisture readings, which confirmed that water was making its way through both the basement walls and the floor.

As we continued our inspection, we found another issue that couldn't be ignored. One of the basement walls was
beginning to bow. After checking it with a level, we confirmed the wall had moved out of place, which can become a serious structural concern if left untreated.

To fix the problem, we created a solution that addressed both the water intrusion and the structural movement. By combining carbon fiber reinforcement, waterproofing, and an interior drainage system, we gave this homeowner a solution that fit their home's specific needs.

By reducing the flexing, bouncing, and sagging that wears on your home over time, both structural integrity and appearance can be preserved.

Our team installed these crawlspace jacks by digging a square hole beneath the sag point, then pouring a rebar-supported concrete footing. We then bolted the jack to the footing, anchoring them together and providing reliable support to the floor above. In most cases, we finish the job by installing a v***r barrier to encapsulate the crawlspace, protecting the home against moisture and excess humidity.

This homeowner's attention was grabbed when they peeled back their carpet to reveal some cracks along their foundation. Worried about the health of their home, they immediately gave us a call to take a look and offer our insight on the issue.

During the inspection, we discovered that a plumbing leak had recently caused water to come up through one of the cracks. While the floor cracks themselves appeared to be pre-existing, the water intrusion highlighted the potential for even more damage to be caused by moisture entering the basement.

Instead of structural foundation repairs, the best solution for this home was to install a interior waterproofing system featuring perimeter drainage, wall drainage membrane, and a sump pump to keep the basement dry.

Not every crack means foundational failure. Sometimes a thorough inspection reveals that the real problem is water. Solving the right problem is what matters most.
