Ricke's Engine and Machine

It's not often I'll be able to say I ground a Ford Model T race cam. These little guys have a top speed of 62 mph which is an improvement from the 40-45 mph top speed right from Henry Ford himself.

This was a Pro Systems 750 Alcohol carb that ran really well but was looking worn down with the old dichromate finish and rusty throttle plates. The throttle shafts were replaced with thinned Quick Fuel shafts, plates were replaced with aluminum ones and the boosters were replaced with ones that are polished. The rest was all refurbished and polished. I powder coated it to give it a nice finish and assembled it with new hardware to make it look like a $1000 carb with very little invested! I love turning junk into gems!

Allis Chalmers D17 Camshaft custom ground for pulling. Cam barrel cut back for tappet clearance and lifters resurfaced and polished.
