Huge congratulations to all of our Pre-College/Junior Chamber Music students who recently placed in the 2026 JCM Chamber Music Competition!
Elementary Division (Ages 11 & Under):
🏆 2nd prize: Carlos Li (violin), Gabriel Sandoval (cello), and Austin Lin (piano), performing the Haydn “Gypsy” Trio, mvt 3.
Junior Division (Ages 14 & Under):
🏆 3rd prize: Kayce Lee (violin), Markus Mauer (cello), and Lana Bui (piano) performing the Clara Schumann Piano Trio in G Minor, Op. 17 – I. Allegro moderato.
Senior Division (Ages 21 & Under):
🏆 3rd Prize: Jamie Lee (violin), Isaiah Marais (cello), Maxwell Tran (piano) performing the Rachmaninoff Trio Elégiaque No. 1 in G Minor.
🏆 Honorable mention: Matthew Mak (cello), Matthew Margolis (violin), and Fredrik Wong (piano) performing the Arensky Piano Trio No. 1 in D Minor, Op. 32, I. Allegro moderato
