Well.. what an eventful day. The superbike motor blew up in 2 laps so we had to resort to the endurance bike motor that’s even more down on power. So a trip back to the house and a long time later we got the wiring harness and motor swapped with 12 minutes to spare before our qualifying session. I had a HUGE uphill battle on my hands because I needed to lay down the gauntlet and run faster than I had the previous two weekends.. BUT WE FU***NG MADE IT! I made the show by .08 seconds, but that’s good enough to race!! Of course the race will be a bruiser, but we fu***ng did it qualifying on the endurance bike. If I didn’t have to get sendy before, I’ll certainly have to now as I’m down minimum 4mph and a boatload of power to the nearest guy. HUGE thanks to my dad and Sam for pitching in getting all the s**t swapped. Couldn’t have done it without them.
And if I didn’t light enough money on fire this weekend, got a $150 fine for speeding in the pit lane 😄

Nights 2/3: got the sprint bike back from Mph Ohio who was able to fix up and fine tune the bike on short notice.. and I must say he did a fantastic job with the details. And after a couple late nights of seemingly endless little things to do, she’s pretty much all buttoned up and ready to roll! She’s certainly not going to be as quick as pretty much any of the other bikes out there, but we’re gonna send it and see how it plays out 🤙🏻

Ahh.. drinking the woes away from the weekend. First time hitting the track all year was going well until it wasn’t. Took me a little bit to get back up to pace but eventually was putting in multiple laps below my old PB. Unfortunately about an hour into my stint, I tucked the front in T3 which set us back 40 minutes trying to pick up the bike and repair it. First time I went down in 3 years, just unfortunate for it to happen guest riding for Dairy Boys. That’s racing sometimes.
The pace for the rest of the teams were ridiculously fast, way beyond my abilities at the moment.. LWT grids have really stepped it up.
