From community health fairs and mobile eye clinics to volunteer events and new partnerships, it's been an incredible six months of serving our community 🫂

Spending time in sunlight can benefit your health, and it may also help reduce the risk of nearsightedness in children.

Encourage your kids to play outside during the day to support healthy vision—just be sure they wear hats and sunglasses 😎 for eye protection because everyone is at risk for sun damage from harmful UV light exposure.

Keep in mind:

⛅️ Clouds don't block UV light. The sun's rays can pass through haze and clouds.

🔆 Sunlight is strongest midday to early afternoon.

❄️ Sunlight is also stronger at higher altitudes and when reflected off of water, ice, or snow.
