3️⃣ United States Air Force veteran Scott Behan has been working in all areas of the funeral industry for more than 15 years.

He is the president and owner of Rocky Mountain Providers, and author of “Funeral Funding Made Simple.”

He is co-author of “Speaking from the Heart - Advanced Funeral Planning.”

Originally from Baltimore, he enjoys cycling, skiing and travel.

4️⃣ U.S. Marine Corps veteran Ed Rapisarda owns Realty One Group Fox and has developed a company culture of community giving which he instills by example in his 110 real estate agents.

His business in Vacaville, Calif., supports a multitude of community events and organizations through not only monetary giving but also through volunteerism.

Meet more of our incredible finalists for the 2024 Vetrepreneur® of the Year. 🌟

1️⃣ U.S. Army veteran Craig Colucci offers baseball and softball training, batting cages, pro-shop, camps and clinics and special events through his franchise in Virginia: D-BAT.

He’s had double digit growth every year since he opened in February 2019.

He has nearly 50 full- and part-time employees and is involved in countless initiatives designed to have a community impact across a diverse spectrum of needs.

2️⃣ U.S. Marine Corps veteran Eric Dominijanni started out as an amateur Scotch collector until he amassed a collection of great Scotches.

He started to decant the dregs of particularly good Scotches into what would become his “Infinity Bottle.”

Eventually, the blend became so good that he didn’t want to change it.

He is proud to be a part of this historic brand: Fior Scotch.

3️⃣ U.S. Marine Corps veteran Matthew Sarkela became a top performing franchisee for Mr. Appliance, and sold the business and planned to retire.

When it came time for Matthew to retire he instead decided to scale another business with Dryer Vent Wizard in 2020.

Matthew quickly scaled his business and became rookie franchisee of the year in 2021 and secured a spot in the top 10% of franchisees.

4️⃣ U.S. Navy veteran Curt M. Maier has vast experiences in the corporate setting, in purchasing and running his own businesses and in helping others to properly evaluate and purchase their own businesses/franchises.

Curt has always given back to the veteran community and the community at large—he’s been involved with a multitude of veteran and franchise organizations throughout his entire career.
