It’s your boy Austin St. John — the Original Red Ranger — and I am SUPER pumped to be coming back to Florida this weekend!
I’ll be at The Pixel Gallery in Cocoa for two days only:

We’ll have a bunch of Lisa’s awesome pixel art there too, and I’ll be signing those as well! 🎨

This is no joke
This rare behind the scenes image shows the body doubles used for Jason Trini and Zack after their original actors left the show during Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Season 2.
Their first appearance came in The Ninja Encounter where the production had to get creative to keep the story going. Viewers never saw their faces clearly. Instead the show used back of the head shots quick cuts and carefully framed camera angles to maintain the illusion that the original Rangers were still present.
This is a digitally remastered photo that now reveals the stand ins along with their names. It is a fascinating piece of Power Rangers history that shows just how far the production team went to keep the transition seamless for the audience.
