HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY!
The message speaks about the difference between obligation and gratitude.
It is not saying children are “indebted” to parents in a cold or transactional way. Instead, it points to something deeper: when parents genuinely sacrifice, love, protect, and provide with sincerity, many children naturally grow up wanting to give love back.
Real love does not usually say:
“You owe me.”
Real love often says:
“I remember what you did for me, and I want to honor it.”
Deeper Meaning
Some parents work through exhaustion, financial struggle, emotional stress, and personal sacrifice just to create opportunities for their children. Many children only fully understand this when they become adults themselves.
The quote recognizes that:
* care cannot always be repaid equally,
* sacrifices cannot always be measured,
* but gratitude can still be expressed.
Giving back may look like:
* spending time with them,
* showing respect,
* being patient as they age,
* helping them when they need support,
* making them feel valued and not forgotten.
Important Balance
The message is meaningful, but it also needs wisdom and balance.
Not every parent was loving, safe, or sacrificial. Some people grew up with neglect, abuse, manipulation, or emotional harm. In those situations, honoring parents does not mean tolerating mistreatment or destroying your own well-being.
Healthy gratitude should come from:
* love,
* respect,
* and free choice,
—not guilt, fear, or emotional pressure.
A major lesson here is:
The greatest sacrifices are often invisible while they are happening.
Children usually notice rules, limits, or struggles first. Later in life, they begin to notice:
* the sleepless nights,
* the stress parents hid,
* the dreams parents postponed,
* the burdens they carried quietly.
Another lesson:
Love becomes complete when it flows in both directions.
Parents pour into children when they are weak. Later, children often have the opportunity to pour back into parents when they become older, tired, or vulnerable. That cycle reflects maturity and humanity.
And finally:
Gratitude should not wait for funerals, hospital rooms, or regret.
People often realize the value of their parents after time has already been lost. Appreciation expressed late still matters — but appreciation expressed while people are alive can heal hearts, strengthen relationships, and create peace that lasts for generations.

Beloved brethren,
Once again, with joy and anticipation, we extend our warmest invitation to the 35th Fundamental Bible Conference, taking place on Thursday and Friday, October 31 to November 1.
This year, we are grounded in the theme of Colossians 1:28— “…warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus” (KJV).
We are eager to gather with you as we dive deep into the Word of God, expounding upon key doctrines and truths essential to our growth and steadfastness in Christ.
Each topic has been prayerfully chosen, aiming to equip us all for the calling to be presented mature in our faith.
Come prepared to be encouraged, challenged, and renewed as we fellowship together around the Word.
We look forward to seeing you there!

We are, undoubtedly, living in perilous yet exciting times.
Perilous because wars and rumors of wars from both the western and eastern hemispheres are escalating.
The increasing tensions in the Middle East are affecting the stability of the world’s geo-political situation.
Exciting because such a scenario has been prophesied in the sacred pages of God’s Word.
More than ever, our Lord’s instructions need to be heeded: "When these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh,” Luke 21:28.
As before, this year’s 35th Fundamental Bible Conference is designed to get God’s blood-bought saints back to the Book—to encourage us to stay on course with our God-given mission.
By God's enabling grace, we dare not flinch nor falter, as some have already have.
Instead, we need to be right with God to live right before Him: evangelizing the lost, edifying the saints, equipping them for ministry, and engaging in earnestly contending for the faith once delivered to the saints.
So, invite friends and loved ones to join us this October 31 to November 1 for a time of warm, Christian fellowship and preaching at the Astoria Plaza, that directly address current concerns and issues of our day in the light of God’s Word while proclaiming Christ, the hope of glory: Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect (mature, complete, fully grown) in Christ Jesus, Colossians 1:28.
See you at the conference.
