We hope everyone is safe after that storm last night. In general, the hail was large enough to cause shingle damage in the right conditions but should not have been large enough to cause leaks. 🤞🏻

If you have a leak, get someone out there today before it starts to rain again.

You will most likely experience some storm chasers knocking on your door in the following months. As always, we recommend that you interview a couple of contractors if you notice signs of damage before you choose the company you want to work with, and DO NOT SIGN ANYTHING until:

1. You speak with your insurance agent and get their take. (Ask for a referral of someone they’ve worked with)
2. You have scheduled an inspection with someone YOU contacted, not the canvassers knocking every door on the block.
3. You know where the company is based. Local is safer.
4. You’ve asked and received references, checked them, and looked for reviews.
5. Remember, you don’t need to commit to anyone until you’re ready. It’s OK to say “NO”.
