Fourpines Cavaliers

One of the things that first draws people to Cavaliers is their expression… The soft, round eyes. The gentle shape of their face. And those long, feathered ears.

What was the first thing that drew you to Cavaliers?

Our sweet Lyla, ‘Fourpines Lily of the Valley’. We chose her registered name because it felt so fitting. Like the flower, she truly was our return to happiness, new beginning, good luck, rebirth of Fourpines and the one who will carry our line forward.

Lyla is incredibly intelligent, independent, and thoughtful in everything she does. I hope to have her therapy certified one day and share her gentle spirit with our community and beyond. She guides me already, shows me glimpses of her ‘calling’. When we’re at the dog park she doesn’t care to play, she seeks someone sitting alone and sits with them. She has a gentle but eager spirit, and I hope to reveal and support her in her natural abilities.

My goal with this photoshoot was to capture the girls and everything I love about each of them. Natalie did that so thoughtfully .
