UAW Local 677 Veterans Committee

The fundraiser last night at Wisecrackers Comedy Club was a big success. We were entertained by 4 hilarious comedians as we laughed the night away! Thanks to everyone who came out in support of Keystone Warriors. We raised $1,720.00 and we are so pleased to be able to donate this money to an organization that honors the daily sacrifices made by the brave men and women in all branches of the United States Military; specifically those wounded on or after 9/11.

I want to take a moment to thank everyone who came out to donate blood yesterday. I understand that the act of donating blood is much harder for some than others and I appreciate that everyone took the time out of their weekend to help the community with this event. With everyone's sacrifice, we raised 21 units to be used locally. Although we may never know who's lives we saved with this event you can feel confident their appreciation is real. So the next time you are out, just think, the life you saved just might be the person you see in the grocery store, mall or car next to you and then feel good for what you've done!

Just a quick thank you to everyone who joined us at the March 28th, comedy night at Wisecrackers comedy club. This annual event is always a lot of fun and this year was no different. We hold this fundraiser to benefit the Keystone Warriors and through the generosity of everyone that attended, with several other donations, we raised a grand total of $1753.00 for the cause.
Please remember that without everyone's support we wouldnt be able to hold events like this. Please also know how much the Veterans committee and the UAW 677 really does appreciate your help to make this a success.

On October 10, we held the drawing for the meat raffle to benefit the Keystone Warriors. I don't yet have a copy of the winners to post in the plant but I have called all of the winners to let them know how to pick up their prizes. For everyone else that supported this fundraiser, thank you for your donation. Until I get an official copy up, please reference this list of winners and congratulations to those who won.
