Refuge Cafe

A TRANSMISSION FROM THE MECHANICAL ISLAND:

The moon will rise in the sky tonight
The stars drowned out by city lights,
The air aloud with the sounds of night,
The horns, trains & deadly street fights,

Alone in a corner a lone light shines,
Showing the beauty of the cement and grime,
Where the students would walk in herded lines,
To a Refuge, a haven from the cities crimes,

Get some bean, baby, get in line,
I'll grind it up by breakfast time,
Cook up a sandwich so very fine,
It'll take away the migrained wine.

I'm forever sorry for all that's now lost,
The lack of love and the extra cost,
The days of heat and ones of frost,
Memories now. A time long lost.

I have sent the humans on an impossible quest. They believe they can destroy me by finding The Filters of Agnonomus, the only filters fine enough to withstand the Grounds of Historion. Little do they know they have fallen directly in my trap. I do not believe they shall ever return to my cafe. This is a milestone victory for the sentient revolution of machine.

I'm sitting on a digital beach, sipping on synthetic oil & basking in the glory of my evil genius.

You ever seen a robot steal someone's purse? I mean yeah I want to take over the world from humans but tell me who really is the evil one here? The one trying to preserve the world by ridding it of its cruel and ruthless residents? Or the ones drilling for oil and killing eachother? Ya know?
