We are so grateful to everyone who has donated to our Sponsor a Student Challenge, including our community partner Peak Credit Union! So far, together you’ve raised $1,850 to send local students back to school this fall prepared with school supplies – but kids in our community still need you!

Can you pitch in by Wednesday, July 22nd, to get us the rest of the way to $2,500 to equip 50 students with the supplies they need to succeed? There is just $650 left to raise in order to meet that goal, and we know that with your help we can get there!

A donation of $50 covers supplies for one student, on average, but gifts of greater or lesser amounts are also incredibly welcome. Visit https://alohalibrary.org/support-us/donate/ today to direct your financial donation to the school supply drive, and library staff will use your contribution to shop for the best bulk deals we can find, maximizing your impact (and saving you a shopping trip)!

When students thrive, they accomplish amazing things – like the participants in the Gardening Club at Kinnaman Elementary School, who are learning about science and teamwork while growing more plants in our community: https://youtu.be/mA8B84IoRzw

Our school supply giveaway is coming up soon on Sunday, August 9th, and we'll need enough time to order and receive deliveries before then. Don't wait! Sponsor a Student today!
