Alpena Cycle Club Mower Derby Rules

$50 ENTRY

NO PULLEY SWAPPING(First event to test the waters and have an even playing field)

NO 4/5 Bolt Drive Axles

Engine must be stock/standard riding mower engine(Gas only, no diesel)

Decks must be removed

Brakes must be in working order

Hand or Foot throttle is fine

Changing tires is OK(MAX HEIGHT OF 20")

No sidewall protectors on tires

Must use air in tires, tubes are allowed (No foam allowed)

Must remove any/all glass if applicable

Must be able to start from drivers seat

Foot/Leg protection is a must(Can be welded or bolted)

Spark Plug/Carb protection is allowed

Gas tank must be under the hood (Cannot be more than half full)

Factory hoods only(Can be welded, wired or bolted)

Now plates/reinforcing of the frame rails

Back protection is allowed (Bolted or Welded)

Roll bars/loops are allowed but not required

Custom bumpers allowed (No wider that the tires, no sharp edges)

Hood height must not exceed 40"

NO DELIBERATE FULL TRACK T-BONES

HELMENT, LONG PANTS, LONG SLEEVE SHIRT, CLOSE TOE SHOES ARE A MUST

Saturday, May 30th, Alpena Cycle Club presents Mud Bogs. Join us to witness high-performance trucks freestyle and navigate the new mud bog pit. Gates and registration open at 9:00 am, with the event commencing at 1:00 pm. We look forward to seeing you there.
