What an inspiring week representing Sul Ross State University and celebrating the power of education, AI, and STEM! We are proud to share the incredible impact of our Sul Ross State University NSF Noyce Program and AI Presidential Challenge. It has been especially rewarding to see our Noyce Scholar and future mathematics teacher, Adrian Estrada of El Paso, Texas, serving as a mentor during the AI Presidential Challenge. Adrian supported a team of high school students while collaborating with a STEM teacher leader from Midland ISD, demonstrating the leadership, innovation, and service that define the next generation of educators. Watching future teachers lead alongside experienced educators reminds us that investing in teacher preparation strengthens our schools, communities, and our nation’s future in STEM. As we celebrate America’s 250th anniversary, we also celebrate our country’s remarkable legacy of scientific discovery, technological innovation, and educational excellence.
