UPDATED: H-E-B has activated our Emergency Operations Center in advance of Hurricane Harvey. Harvey is projected to be a Category 3 hurricane upon impact and is expected to make landfall on the Texas Coast Saturday at 6am. We are in the process of preparing our stores and facilities for this storm event.
Please refer to the pinned post of on the H-E-B Emergency Preparedness page to reference the H-E-B Store locations that have closed due to the hurricane.
Mandatory Evacuations are in effect in the following areas: Mathis, Port Lavaca, Port Aransas, Rockport, San Patricio County, Calhoun County, Ingleside, Portland, Matagorda County, Jackson County and Cuero for those located in low lying areas.
Voluntary Evacuations (highly encouraged): Corpus Christi.
The current track of the storm takes the center near Corpus Christi. After landfall, Harvey is expected to decelerate and turn to the east-northeast, setting the stage for heavy rainfall on Friday and into the weekend over portions of Texas from the Hill Country (including San Antonio and Austin), points south to the Coastal Bend (including Corpus Christi), and points north and east into southeast Texas (including Houston and Galveston).
Stay tuned to this page and follow our Twitter feed at for the latest H-E-B updates throughout this situation. Also, stay tuned to your local media for any updates in your area.
