NOW HIRING: DRAFTSMAN/PERMITTING AGENT

SPOT Fire & Security is looking for a motivated draftsman to handle drafting for fire alarm projects and handle the permitting process with AHJs. Qualified candidates must have experience in drafting in the construction trades, preferably in the Fire Alarm industry.

We are a 27-year-old, family-owned low voltage company serving Central Florida. Our specialization is Fire Alarms so the perfect candidate would have a solid foundation and knowledge of fire alarm systems. Our customers call on us to fix other systems that larger companies cannot. We are known to be professional and highly ethical and expect our employees to conduct themselves as such. We also install Burglar/CCTV/Access Control and Data systems. Knowledge of these systems is desired.

Applicant must be proficient in AutoCAD/AutoCAD LT.
Aplicant must have knowledge of NFPA 72 and NFPA 101 Codes.
Applicant must be highly organized.
Knowledge of AHJ permitting processes is a plus.
Applicants must have a clean driving record and a professional appearance.
Applicant must work well with others and be an effective communicator.
Applicant must be able to pass a background check and will be fingerprinted.
