Riverbend MOPS

MOPS 20/21 Announcement:
Ladies! We have found a church that will host our group on Wednesday mornings. Unfortunately that means our group will be moving again but we are happy that we aren’t losing a lot of members because of the change in the day of week.

We will now be meeting at The Bridge Church in Alton. We will be changing the group name to Riverbend Mops to sound more inclusive to all of this area (Alton, East Alton, Wood River, Bethalto, etc.).

We will be meeting on Wednesday mornings from 9-11:30 again. We will have childcare again. We will have food again. The plan is to attempt to return to pre covid normal as long as the state is staying under current conditions and covid numbers don’t increase. This is always subject to change. The policy at the Bridge currently is masks optional. Also please do not come if you have been feeling ill, been in contact with someone positive, etc.

We will also be hosting a night group for moms who work or can’t make Wednesday mornings. Thursday 7-9 like we did during covid. There will be no childcare and no food. Drinks and snacks are welcome to bring.
We anticipate both groups being smaller.

The winner of the Ashly Maynard Memorial MOPS Membership for the 21/22 year is Darci Shell.
Ashly was a long time MOPS member who lost her life in November 2019 in a car accident with her son. We want to make sure to honor her memory every year by gifting a membership to one mom in the momsnext group. Ashly was an amazing wife, mother, and friend and she will forever be greatly missed. ❤️
