We hope everyone had a great time yesterday (and still have all the standard issue digits!) Today is the first Sunday of the month and that means it's Fiber & Textile Community Meetup Day! Casey will be hosting this FREE gathering down at JAC (208 State Street) from 4-6pm today. Bring along whatever current project you're working on for connection and community sharing with other creatives. Snacks and drinks are optional, but bring what you'd like!

Happy Birthday America! Jacoby Arts Center will be closed this coming Saturday, July 4th, so that our staff may celebrate the 250th anniversary of our nation with their loved ones. Please stay safe as you're out there enjoying the festivities and we'll see you at Night Market on Broadway this Thursday! 🎉🎆

Love local art? We do, too. Did you know there are multiple art galleries/shops in Downtown Alton where you can see work from incredibly talents local artists?

The JAC Community Gallery is open every Saturday from 12-4pm. Stop in to see The River's Reach, a collection of photographs featuring the beauty of our surrounding river landscapes on exhibit until August 8th.

Then hop across the street to Mooneyham Art where you'll find a collection of work from local, national, and international artists for sale.

Elysian Gallery & Café just reopened in a new location on Broadway, now featuring longer hours and a cafe, in addition to local artwork and stunning jewelry.

Across the street is Mississippi Mud Pottery where you can find functional ceramics pieces for your everyday needs.
