There’s something special about a library in a town like Brazoria! From the history rooted deep in this community
to the shelves filled with stories waiting to be discovered…
this little library holds more than books.
It holds connection!

Connection to the past.
Connection to each other.
Connection to something bigger than ourselves.

As we get closer to the end of this series,
I can’t help but feel so grateful for every single stop along the way 🤎

Brazoria… you were a beautiful one.

Episode 9 📚 | Sweeny Library

The kind of place where you walk in and instantly feel like you belong!

It may not be the biggest stop on the list…BUT it’s a reminder that you don’t need a huge space to make a big impact!

And the librarians… truly the heart of it all. So kind, so intentional, and so deeply invested in their community. You can feel how much they care about every person who walks through those doors.

Just proof that libraries aren’t just buildings with books…
They’re safe places, quiet places, and sometimes exactly what you didn’t know you needed.

Now off to Brazoria 📚🏃🏻‍♀️

Isn’t it crazy what a year can bring?

God did that 🤎

I wrote my children’s book just hoping to tell my dad’s story!

Thinking maybe I’d print 5 copies…just enough to keep his Christmas legacy alive for my family.

But 5 turned into 100…
and 100 turned into me doing the most terrifying thing I could imagine…speaking in front of people (still shaking, not gonna lie 😅).

And somehow… that turned into seeing my book sitting on a library shelf.

Like… what? 😭

A place that shaped me growing up…
now holding something I created.

I don’t take that lightly.

Now my heart is set on one thing!
Bringing love back into our communities… and into our libraries 🤎

I’m so grateful.
For every person who supported me, encouraged me, prayed for me, and stayed through every high and low… thank you.
