Alvin Police Officers Association
Alvin POA is now on Facebook. Show your support and become a fan. Our Association is built upon a foundation of Unity, Integrity, and Community Involvement.
During National Police Week 2026, we want to recognize and thank the men and women of the Alvin Police Department, the Alvin Police Officers Association, and law enforcement officers across this country for their service, sacrifice, and dedication to protecting their communities every single day.
This profession demands long hours, missed holidays, time away from family, and the willingness to run toward danger when others run away. Despite the challenges, police officers continue to serve with courage, professionalism, and pride.
This week, we also honor and remember the officers who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. Their courage and legacy will never be forgotten.
To every officer working the streets, answering calls, investigating crimes, working inside the jail, dispatching emergencies, and supporting operations behind the scenes, we say, โThank youโ for all that you do. Your work matters, and your sacrifices do not go unnoticed.
From the Alvin Police Officers Association, Happy National Police Week 2026. Stay safe and watch out for one another. ๐๐บ๐ธ๐ฎโโ๏ธ๐ฎโโ๏ธ
This week, we recognize National Correctional Officers Week and the men and women who serve behind the walls of our Detention Facility.
Our detention officers play a critical role in public safety, maintaining order, ensuring the care and custody of inmates, and handling situations that most people never see. Itโs a job that requires patience, strength, and professionalism every single day.
Their work often goes unnoticed, but it should never go unappreciated.
To our detention officers: thank you for your dedication, your resilience, and your commitment to doing a tough job the right way. We appreciate everything you do for our department and our community.

As President of the Alvin Police Officers Association, I had the opportunity to attend a campaign fundraiser yesterday in Pearland hosted by Jon Albin, who has proudly served with the Pearland Police Department for 26 years. Jon is currently running for Brazoria County Justice of the Peace, Precinct 3, Place 2.
Our association takes seriously the responsibility of staying informed and engaged with the leaders and candidates who shape our city, county, state, and nation. Opportunities like this allow us to better understand the individuals seeking public office and the vision they have for the communities we serve.
Thank you, Mr. Albin, for the invitation and for taking the time to share your goals and plans. It was also great to see so many familiar faces in attendance, all showing their support and commitment to the future of Brazoria County.
We appreciate the chance to learn more and remain committed to staying involved in the process.
