Catching up and gossiping with an old friend while sewing a perfect ¼” seam… allegedly. 😩 The rumor was so good I temporarily forgot I was supposed to be making straight lines and not Harper Valley PTA detours.
I’ve always loved the color red,
It’s danced through every dream I’ve had in my head.
Red roses, red barns, red ribbons that gleam,
Red has forever been part of my theme.
Red wagons and cardinals perched in a tree,
A bright red tomato picked fresh just for me.
Red lipstick, red candy, red quilts on a bed,
If given a choice, I’ll choose red instead.
So imagine my joy, my delight, my surprise,
When Janome unveiled a treasure before my eyes.
A longarm machine in a glorious red,
The very color that’s lived in my head!
It’s bold and it’s brilliant, it’s classy and bright,
A machine that can quilt from morning to night.
Some folks love blue, and some favor black,
But give me a red Janome and I won’t look back.
The other quilters may whisper, “That’s quite a sight,”
But I’ll be too busy quilting with delight.
Because some dreams are stitched one seam at a time,
And a red Janome? That’s simply sublime.

The Pucker Up girls mastered the welt pocket. Some decided to monogram and some decided to make multiples. Overall, everyone did a great job stretching their bag making skills.

If I had a dollar for every time my husband said I was delusional, I could pay off the national debt in ones.
Today’s example? I honestly believed I could fit all of these sewing machines in my car. The car disagreed.

This is a great big bag that is suited to carry all your quilting, knitting, stitching supplies. Finished bag is 14 inches tall, 18 inches wide and 10 inches deep. Perfect to use 5-inch squares. Basic sewing skills needed.
