We have received reports of a new scam targeting family members of inmates in the Randall County Jail. Scammers are calling and falsely claiming that, due to overcrowding, their incarcerated family member will be released and placed on an ankle monitor. They are then instructed to send money to cover the cost of the monitor.

Please be aware and cautious of phone calls you may receive. If you have any concerns, hang up and call the Randall County Sheriff's Office at 806-468-5800.
