Critter Den Geckos

As a reptile breeder this breaks my heart. Please take the time required to learn what your pet requires to live a happy and healthy life. Honestly analyze your capability and interest to do right by the living thing you purchase. The internet is a vast well of knowledge of animal care and breeders are always happy to lend their advice and help (or at least they should be.)

I tell parents all the time when they come to me wanting at gecko for their young child to ask themselves if THEY want the animal too because they will more than likely be the one caring for it. Sometimes I lose some sales this way, but I’d rather the animal go to a guaranteed good home than leave me to die or suffer. I care for these animals a great deal. Reptiles are a time commitment. Many live more than 10 years and some WILL outlive you if cared for properly. Geckos can live 15-20 years easily. They are wonderful pets yet will always require good care.

If an owner gets into a bind, they can always reach out to me and I’ll take the animal back. No questions asked. I get it. Life can get away from us. Our animals shouldn’t suffer because of that.
