Pack 421 - Americus, GA

Pack 421 is preparing to enter the pine derby race, which will be held in March!
We are excited to see which car style will win and are enjoying painting our cars!

Last Friday our girls set up a table in front of Minick Interiors Inc. and sold baked goods during Downtown Americus Main Street’s Downtown Goes Disney! They had a great time even in the heat and ended up selling all of the goodies! They had cookies, brownies and lemonade - yum!!

We will be starting our meetings again on 08/25 at 6 PM at the Troop 21 Scout Hut on the corner of Dodson & Elm. We are currently accepting new members from Kindergarten through 5th grade! Come join us and see what we are all about!

Our girls had a great time selling yummy baked goods at First Friday!

Krispy Kreme’s doughnut machine broke down yesterday but our girls were able to switch up their plans and sell individual cupcakes, brownies and chocolate chip cookies instead. We also had lemonade made with bottled water and ice from Lee County to ensure the safety of our customers.

The girls were responsible for promoting and selling the baked goods. They learned basic safety food serving skills and were in charge of totaling up orders and handling the money. In the end we sold every single item we brought!! The girls were very excited and kept on asking how much we made. These funds will go towards future scouting activities such as camping and badge requirements projects and activities.

Even with the doughnut issues and the windy and rainy weather, our girls had a successful and fun time while gaining entrepreneurial skills!

We are still planning on selling boxes of Krispy Kreme doughnuts in the future so keep your eyes open for that announcement!
