Fair season has arrived! 🎪 I met this adorable little babydoll Southdown this morning, but also had to disqualify four lambs for ringworm. 🔴 Also know as club lamb fungus, ringworm is a public health concern for both people & other animals. 🐑 Vets don’t want to ruin kids’ fair experience so that means checking your animal prior to leaving the home farm for areas of wool loss, crusting, thickened skin, & weeping crusts. 🩸 Talk to your vet about treatment & get them cleared up before the next show.

Alpaca day! 🦙 Today students got the opportunity to handle alpacas, give injections, trim feet & say hello to these adorable babies!
