Please be aware we've had multiple car burglaries at a fitness center, a nursing home, and the city dog park. The suspects are smashing car windows and removing purses and other items of value, which are plain view. The burglaries occurred around 11 am on December 9th and 19th. The suspects will break into cars, steal items and then attempt to use credit cards quickly at stores. The suspects flee the area and often travel from community to community to commit these burglaries.

Please do not leave purses, wallets or other valuable items in the passenger compartment of your vehicle. If you see suspicious activity, report it to the police department immediately.
