We said farewell to our former assistant manager in December as she took a role closer to home. That means the Poultry Farm is hiring for another member to add to our full-time staff!

The farm was lucky enough to host and have management participate in the very first PAACO Layer Welfare Auditor training earlier this month. The PAACO, Professional Animal Auditor Certification Organization, had been working on setting up this training for 5 years. This event had just over 20 participants from across the country joined together for a packed day of Layer Welfare auditing instructing and onsite visits. Dr. Larry Sadler, Matt Jones, and various PAACO representatives helped instruct the course. Thank you to the PAACO organization for letting us be apart of this event. Hopefully we will have enough interest to host this again!

The new Feedmill will be in operation before we know it!

Yesterday, three of our student employees helped with the Pullorum Typhoid testing school, and also got certified to test themselves! 🥳 Great work Marlen, Alex, & Boston! 🐓
