The month of May is recognized as Historic Preservation Month. We want to highlight one of our most recent design projects that falls in that category: Boone FLEX. Once home to the Boone YMCA that had fallen into disrepair, this building was in need of updating for modern use. We advised the owners on needed changes for code compliance and improved layout as well as updated finishes that would compliment the provenance of this historic building. We love how elements of the old integrate so well with the new so we could preserve the history of this building. We are excited to see it continue to serve the community!
