The Iowa Institute for Cooperatives Foundation is proud to support the Service-Learning – Entrepreneurship/Placement Award, recognizing FFA members who identify real agricultural community needs and lead impactful service projects to address them. These student-driven initiatives apply classroom agricultural knowledge to benefit schools, public entities, or entire communities—building leadership, innovation, and hands-on experience along the way.

Projects are member-initiated, thoughtfully planned, locally reviewed, and focused on service over profit—showcasing the power of agriculture education to create meaningful community impact.
