Total fangirl moment. Got a chance to chat with the best writer in comics about breaking into the business. I forgot to point out the black cat dress I was wearing was purchased to celebrate the marriage of Selina Kyle and Bruce Wayne (that he wrote) and that we had a big wedding party, cupcakes and all, at our comic book store. I forgot to tell him how much his writing inspires me to become a better writer and to keep pursuing comics as a medium. I forgot to tell him how his storytelling elevates comics and how grateful I am that he chose to showcase his talents in the 4-color floppies. I forgot to tell him about the hours and hours and hours I talked about his Mister Miracle, Sheriff of Babylon, and Batman run to customers in our store and how the War of Jokes and Riddles is one of the best stories ever written in any medium. Period. I fumbled over my words, I listened intently and I floated away on clouds. Thank you Tom, sincerely.

Another incredible show. Josh freaking brought it on the 🥁. Their stage production left me speechless, like watching a live music video. Every time I see NIN it is perfection.
