Here are our top picks for what to pack to help prevent sensory overload at Disneyland!

🌞Comment “LINKS” and I’ll PM you with the direct affiliate links for these must haves!! (links in our bio as well)🌞

#1 - Noise reduction ear muffs... Not only are these great for predictably loud experiences but when needing a quiet moment to take a breath, these work wonders to hush the surrounding sounds.

#2 - Neck Fan... it’s no secret that Disney gets hot and a neck fan can be a lifesaver! We prefer one with flexible arms so you can aim it where it’s needed and keep your hands free!

#3 - Keychain Soap Bottle... the soap at Disneyland can be harsh for sensitive skin and the smell may be overwhelming for people with sensitive noses (like me!). I always attach one of these silicone bottles filled with my favorite soap from home to my bag so I can access it easily to wash my hands.

#4 - Silicone straws... the texture of straws is a big one in our family and not everyone can handle paper straws. Packing some silicone straws that you can pull out when needed at Disneyland can take away just one more thing that may add to discomfort.

And finally -
#5 - Cooling towels... honestly, these are one of the best things to help keep cool in the parks! We put them in a ziplock with ice and water at the hotel and then take them out when needed at the park. When they need refreshing just swing them in the air or wet them again and hang them to dry overnight so they don’t get musty to use the next day.

Did you know that after you’ve registered for DAS you can book up to 2 one-hour return windows PER DAY of your upcoming trip for select experiences? Doing a little research before your registration call and being prepared with your park dates, which park you’ll be starting in, and what rides you’d like to request can reduce the stress of having to make a quick decision.
