Tokyo, what an adventure. 🇯🇵✨
We packed so much into our time here, wandering vibrant streets, discovering iconic landmarks, trying experiences we never imagined, and eating our way through some of the best food we’ve ever had. Every corner held something new to explore.
But more than anything, our favorite part was meeting the people. Everyone we encountered was so kind, welcoming, and gracious, making this trip even more special. 🌸🌸

Our Kyoto itinerary ⛩️🇯🇵
Swipe through ➡️
1–2: Fushimi Inari Taisha - absolutely stunning! Open 24 hours, free to visit, and just steps from a JR station. The famous 10,000 torii gates are packed at the bottom, but the higher you climb, the fewer people you’ll see… ain’t that life? 🤭😜
3–5: Nijō Castle - a UNESCO World Heritage Site with a small entrance fee. Open daily from 8:45 AM–5:00 PM. Don’t miss Waraku-an Teahouse tucked inside the beautiful Seiryū-en Garden.
6: Pokémon Center - no Pokémon cards, but somehow we left with even more plushies. 😂
7-11: Yasaka Pagoda - one of Kyoto’s most iconic landmarks, surrounded by charming streets filled with shops and restaurants. We loved for an incredible cup of geisha coffee overlooking a peaceful garden, and , where we made custom rings together.
12: - Tucked away in a quiet Kyoto neighborhood, this is simple, unpretentious, and serving one of the best cups we had in Japan. ☕️
14-15: Tonkatsu Katsuya - very limited seating, but absolutely worth the wait.
15: .bar.donguri - delicious pour-over from the nicest café owners. ❤️
16: - great coffee, cool industrial vibe, and a perfect spot for a morning pick-me-up.
17-19: Nishiki Market - over 100 shops and restaurants! We went early to beat the crowds, and it was the perfect time to explore.
20: Hubs and E on a ramen date. 💕🍜
