Meet the faces behind Cozy!👋🏻

Eric & Vanessa came up with the idea for Cozy over brunch. Vanessa expressed her desire to move mental health away from the stigma of a cold, medical practice and more toward a friendly, comfortable, warm environment. Vanessa, being in private practice herself, knew the burden of the expenses of having an office and the frustrations of outdated, poorly decorated rooms. Eric, having prior experience with starting a business, started the process of the logistics to make this work.✨

The goal of Cozy is to provide therapists an affordable, well-designed, turnkey office space to allow therapists to focus on being with their clients and less on the logistics of keeping an office. The second goal was to provide a space for clients to come to therapy and feel safe and comfortable to talk about their feelings.

Vanessa is an associate marriage and family therapist and our designer and marketing queen. She deals with the day-to-day communication of Cozy. If you have a question or send an email, Vanessa is the person you’re speaking with. Vanessa spent time decorating each room to ensure a modern, cozy vibe and drinks most of the La Croix in the fridge. She can ensure every detail is on point and is organized AF.

Eric is our operations wizard at Cozy. He designed and built the online schedule and is the person responsible for all the tech that makes Cozy run smoothly. When he is not flying airplanes he is going through several batteries in the electric drill assembling the furniture and hanging photos or shelves on the wall. If there is iced tea missing in the fridge, it is because of him.

We love being able to serve our mental health community and have goals to open more locations in the future. 🌱
