40 artists submitted in the remix contest, with the top 11 chosen by judge & community vote. Virtues (Remixes) includes reworks of Future Funk & City Pop originals, massive French House / Electro tracks reminiscent of Daft Punk & Justice (from ga2b, Midnight Drift & Beadie), Todd Edwards inspired Garage (Android52 & FIBRE), TB-303 laced Acid Jams (DJ Cockatiel), Jersey Bounce (Manikin) and a Vapor-funk closer (Inner Nature).

A decade ago, FIBRE joined forces with longtime friend Aritus to create Virtues EP, one of the biggest releases to come out of Future Funk & Vaporwave’s 2016 golden era. Gaining recognition from NEST HQ, Artzie Music & hitting charts; singles like “Odyssey” & “Don’t” were part of the top Disco tunes streamed & downloaded across contemporary underground electronic music. FIBRE & Aritus continued working together, but parted ways creatively in 2019. Attempts at a re-release in 2018 were blocked due to licensing issues, failed remasters & scrapped bonuses.

A long awaited reunion in Fall 2024 finally led to its completion. Released by Montaime on streaming, it included a Neoncity Records supported cassette repress + first-ever vinyl & CD pressings. It included brand new bonuses & three remixes from.Future Funk mainstays Vantage (producer of TikTok hit ‘50//50’), ConsciousThoughts & Rhodes Rodosu. As of today, all copies of Virtues (Deluxe) have sold out.

FIBRE began a full-time music career early 2025 & completed their first successful tour; 15 shows across the US & Canada championing the duo’s connections to Future Funk.
