Hi friends! This Saturday would have been our 10th Annual 12 Days of Christmas Pub Crawl to raise money for the Pump Up The Kids program run by 94/7 Alternative Anchorage. Foster teens are often overlooked during the holidays and the Pump Up The Kids program allows these teens in the Anchorage area to submit wish lists with what they would like for Christmas. ALL of the money raised for the program is used to purchase gifts to fulfill the wish lists.

Since we can't have the pub crawl this year we came up with a new plan to raise money. Family Tree Presents and Collaborative Minds are asking for donations to our gofundme campaign so that we can still fulfill the wishlists filled out by the foster teens through State of Alaska OCS office. 100% of the money raised goes to purchase gifts for foster teens in the Anchorage area.

I was a bummed the timing didn’t work out this year to take a new photo, but when Nadia put together this collage I was humbled by the overall impact they have made. So in leu of a new photo where the “likes = donations” I am asking to please take a moment to donate to the Covenant House Alaska. There’s a lot of youth in Anchorage that deserves a chance to blossom into the adults that form our community and every $ from us to this program helps.
