What a night! ♻️ Thank you to everyone who made last week’s reFashioned Haute Trash Runway Show an unforgettable celebration of creativity and sustainability. Through the ingenuity of our incredible partners, talented designers and models, discarded materials were transformed into extraordinary wearable works of art that challenged assumptions about waste and highlighted the possibilities of reuse. Thank you for helping bring this vision to life and for reminding us that innovation often begins by seeing potential where others see waste.

Grab your helmet and pedal to the museum lawn to join our monthly summer bike tours. Every Third Thursday, June through August, museum staff and community experts will bike through areas of Anchorage, making stops to highlight local spots of interest based on exhibition-related themes. June's theme is public art around Anchorage.
Free. Tour begins at the Anchorage Museum and covers four to eight miles; may not be suitable for all riders. Rain or shine. Meet at 5 p.m., ride begins at 5:30 p.m.

"CoLab-orations" is a monthly workshop for tweens (10-12 years old), teens and adults that provides an opportunity to explore a specific material or skill in-depth. This month, participants will be making decorative photo frames of various sizes using simple materials and tools. Materials and some decorative elements will be provided for all participants.
5:30-7 p.m. Tuesday, June 16, in the Discovery Center, CoLab. $20; includes museum admission. Museum members receive a 10% discount.
