We coordinate with the performance art community to host events that raise money for a variety of drag aid.

Today on Juneteenth, Drag for a Cause honors the resilience, brilliance, and enduring contributions of Black Americans and recognizes the significance of this day in commemorating the emancipation of enslaved people in the United States.

We also celebrate and uplift Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) whose voices, artistry, leadership, and advocacy continue to shape our communities and movements for justice. The fight for equality, liberation, and dignity is deeply interconnected, and we remain committed to fostering spaces where all people can be seen, valued, and celebrated.

As we reflect on the history of Juneteenth, we encourage our community to learn, listen, support Black-led organizations and businesses, and honor those who continue working toward a more equitable future.

Happy Juneteenth. ❤️🖤💚

We wanted to thank Mayor Lafrance and the Municipality of Anchorage! Drag For A Cause is one of the recipients of the Art Grant! This will help us immensely with the costs of our fundraising! Which then funnels more of our fundraising dollars to the community! 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈
