Santa told me, “McJingles, it’s time you go see what humans call the Fourth of July.”
So naturally, I grabbed my tiny elf badge, my emergency candy cane supply (because I heard humans get hungry during celebrations), and headed down to visit my favorite EPD family. 🚔✨
First question… WHY are humans making the sky explode?! 😳🎇
I thought maybe someone forgot to tell Santa it wasn’t Christmas Eve and the fireworks were just extra-large elf-approved Christmas lights. I was ready to report a North Pole emergency! But then I learned this is how humans celebrate America’s 250th birthday!
Two hundred and fifty years?! That’s a lot of candles… and I’m very glad they didn’t put them all on one cake. I’m an elf Officer, not a firefighter! 🎂🔥😂
I have to admit, humans really know how to celebrate. The fireworks, the flags, the music, and everyone coming together made even this little elf stop and say, “Wow… this is something special.” 🇺🇸❤️🤍💙
Santa said I should come experience history, and I think I understand now. The Fourth of July isn’t just about fireworks—it’s about celebrating the people, the stories, and the freedom that make this place so unique.
Of course, my work isn’t finished. I’ll still be keeping an eye on my EPD family. Someone has to make sure the officers are behaving… and I need to investigate why humans don’t wear elf-sized uniforms. (Seriously, the pockets are terrible.) 😉
Merry Christmas… in July! 🎄🎆
