Sacred Roots Healing

Some of you know that I embarked upon a strength training journey around last October. I’ve always been active and walk alot but training in functional movements and mobility has had so many benefits!

Today was the first time I got a full workout in since before our trip 😅 I thought it had been a few weeks and I did a couple quick routines in Florida but when I logged my workout I was horrified to see its actually been 5 weeks exactly 🙄

Of course, I have been stressing about losing my progress but the more I thought about it today, what’s the hurry? Thinking about it from a “progress” perspective implies that there’s a finish line. An ending. I want to keep coming back to my movement practice as self care for the rest of my life. Kind of like our inner work 😉

There will always be another layer and looking at it as a practice and just a part of my life takes some of the pressure off. So today, I’m grateful that my body keeps showing up for me even when I forget about it for a little while.

And yes I invented an exercise and my husband named them Kobi Killers 💪 It’s an accurate name 😂
