🐾 Max is still waiting... and we can't figure out why! 🐾

At just 2.5 years old and around 12 pounds, Max is the perfect blend of playful, funny, and affectionate. This handsome Chihuahua boy has been patiently waiting for his forever family, and after an adoption fell through (through absolutely no fault of his own), he's still searching for the happy ending he deserves.

Max is a classic Chihuahua. When meeting new people, he likes to take a minute to decide if you're worthy of his friendship. But once you're in his circle, you're in. He becomes a loyal little sidekick who loves cuddles, adventures, and being close to his favorite person.

One of Max's cutest quirks? He does happy spins when he's excited—especially if treats are involved! And trust us, treats are definitely the way to this boy's heart.

Like many devoted Chihuahuas, Max can become a little protective of "his person" if allowed, but he's smart, responds well to correction, and continues to make great progress. He just needs a family willing to provide guidance, structure, and love.

Max has watched other dogs come and go while he waits for someone to see how special he is. It's long past time for this sweet, silly boy to have a home of his own.

Update!!! Our old man, Skyler, got a home today!!!! So excited for him!

Meet Skyler. Born in November 2011, he's officially reached the age where he's earned the right to complain about...well...everything.

His hobbies include:
🐾 Judging your life choices.
🐾 Following you everywhere you go.
🐾 Demanding snacks.
🐾 Pretending he didn't hear you. (To be fair, he's mostly deaf these days.)

Skyler is not what you'd call "cuddly." In fact, he'd like to file a formal complaint against being picked up. Please keep your hands to yourself unless absolutely necessary.

BUT...

If you respect his boundaries, you've just unlocked one of the funniest little companions around. This tiny old man is extremely treat motivated and will perform his adorable little spins the second he suspects snacks are involved. He's convinced every trip to the kitchen deserves payment.

He prefers to spend his days doing his own thing...just as long as his people are nearby. If you disappear without notifying management, Skyler will loudly announce your absence to the entire neighborhood until you return. Think of him as your very own furry security alarm.

Skyler is looking for a peaceful retirement home where he can enjoy the finer things in life:
