The Walking Man Project

If you haven't been out to Shadyside Park, there are five of the Walking Man sculptures around the trails! Nice work by Frank M. Bauer Thomas, the artist who painted this sculpture saying, "The inspiration originated with early 20th Century Cubist painters. The extension of that idea is through Pollack and Mondrian, especially Mondrian. The use of space and color from Canvas to Steel, from 2D to 3D. From the wall to a free-standing Walking Man."
