This is an official page of Mounds State Park. The largest earthwork, the Great Mound, is believed to have been constructed around 160 B.C.
Trails Open!
All trails at Mounds State Park are now open.
⚠️TRAIL CLOSURES⚠️
Please be aware that due to flooding, trail 6 and parts of trail 5 along the river are closed. For your safety do not go around taped off areas or past "Trail Closed" signs.
We will update on this page when those trails are open again.
