AU Brass Quintet played a fantastic recital at the SCMEA Conference yesterday. Anthony Plog’s “Four Sketches” Michael Kamen’s “Quintet” and Kevin McKee’s “Escape” plus my own composition based on Johnny Mann’s Centennial Alma Mater for Really fine playing and they received so many compliments for the ensemble sound and musical instincts.

Great to see so many friends, colleagues, and alumni in attendance!!

This Saturday the AU Brass Quintet (studio members & ) will play a short recital at the SCMEA Conference.

They will start at 10am and have quite the program planned. Repertoire will include a compositions by trumpet professor, Chris Imhoff ( ) Michael Kamen, and .
