Thank you to everyone who stopped by the inn last Monday for our Memorial Day program! Special thanks to the Anderson American Legion for placing flags at the Fanthorp Family Cemetery.

Our staff and volunteers had a great time playing whist and dealing faro. If you're interested in learning some period card games you can always swing by the inn and twist our arm into teaching you!

Memorial Day is the perfect day to collect some stamps in your Texas Revolution and Republic Passport!

Over here at the inn we will have a special ceremony at the Fanthorp Family Cemetery at 10:30am followed by a full day of games in the parlor.

At Washington on the Brazos State Historic Site you can experience living history at the townsite and at the farm or you can cool off at the museum.

And our friends over at San Felipe de Austin State Historic Site will be running a fun log cabin activity throughout the day as well.

Fanthorp Inn Open on Memorial Day

Stop by the inn this Memorial Day (May 25) from 10am to 4pm for a special program.

At 10:30am the Anderson American Legion will be at the Fanthorp Cemetery placing flags and saluting the servicemen and women interred there.

Over at the inn we will have a faro game running in the parlor. Try your hand at one of the most popular card games of the 19th Century.
