God has a plan for each of us (Jeremiah 29:11), but sometimes we're tempted to flee, hide, or pull the covers over our heads. Here's the truth: there's always a ship willing to take you away from God's will, but that doesn't mean you should board it. The price of running is always substantial—exhaustion, self-doubt, and confusion.
Instead of fleeing, we need to pray: "Lord, reveal to me my Nineveh. Where do you want me to go?" When we trust God and place Jesus at the center, we find peace, purpose, and true significance. You don't have to run from the devil—God's already got him beat. Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world!

Today's Reflection: Who You Really Are
Moses had a direct promise from God that he would deliver the Israelites from their heavy burden of slavery. However, because his initial words were met with fierce resistance from Pharaoh and exhaustion from the people, Moses immediately began to speak words of defeat.
He was on the very brink of allowing a difficult, exhausting environment to change his identity from a chosen deliverer into someone who is completely defeated.
Fortunately, God spoke to Moses again to anchor him back to the truth.
This serves as a vital reminder for us today:
Circumstances lie: Your current environment may completely contradict the promises and dreams God has placed inside your heart.
Environments are a test: Hard times are often a test to see if you will adapt to a negative environment, water down your dreams, or view yourself as a limited victim.
Stand firm: You must answer hardship with faith, remembering that your earthly surroundings never dictate your spiritual identity.
You are not a byproduct of what you are going through; you are a child of the Most High God.
