Here's something folks don't always realize — our 20-foot trailer lets us haul multiple pieces of equipment at once. Tractor, tiller, and mower all riding together, ready for whatever the day calls for.
This particular load was for two different customers on the same day — a tilling job and a bush hogging job, both nearby. Loading and unloading gets a little more like a puzzle when there's more on the trailer, but it means less time on the road and more time getting work done.
If you've got multiple projects going on your property — say, a garden that needs tilling and a fence line that needs cleared — there's a good chance we can knock them both out in one visit. Just ask.

Public service announcement for anyone bush hogging this time of year — keep an eye on your radiator. Between the thistles and all that fluff floating around, it doesn't take long before your tractor starts looking like it drove through a snow globe.
That buildup isn't just messy — it blocks airflow and can have you overheating faster than you'd think, especially on a hot day with the cutter running hard. A quick blow-out with compressed air (or even a leaf blower) every so often keeps things running cool and saves you from a much bigger headache down the road.
Consider this your seasonal thistle-cotton PSA. Ask us how we know. 🎅

Doing some cleanup work in the pastures with the bush hog, following up after the hay equipment came through. Everything was going smooth until a bird shot out from right in front of the tractor.
Got out to look, and sure enough — a nest, tucked in the grass, with a few babies still in it. Needless to say, we left it be. Made a note of the spot and worked around it.
Only worry now is that with the taller grass gone, it's a lot more exposed than it was before. Keeping an eye on it and hoping the local critters don't find it before those babies are ready to go.
Just one of those reminders that this land isn't only ours — we're sharing it with a whole lot of neighbors you don't always see.

We ran a little experiment on our own lane here at the farm — box blade alone on one side, box blade + herbicide treatment on the other.
Here's what we learned: the box blade will get your driveway looking sharp again — regrading, redistributing gravel, fixing that washboard and rut mess. But that "new driveway" look doesn't last if the w**ds come right back through it. That's where a good herbicide + w**d preventer earns its keep.
Our go-to has been RM43 (not sponsored — just what's worked for us, and we always encourage you to do your own research and read the label). The key is finding one that prevents regrowth, not just kills what's already there. Roundup isn't enough.
Our recommendation: treat right after any grading work, then plan on a fresh grading + treatment combo once a year — spring works great — to keep your driveway looking like this all season long.
And you can feel this confident too!
Stop by our farm stand for fresh produce grown right here on our family farm.
Quick tip either way: always give your veggies a good rinse before eating — even homegrown stuff can pick up dirt and garden critters along the way. Fresh doesn’t mean skip-the-wash! 😄
