Nesting boxes have been installed at 16 bridges across the state, allowing these falcons to thrive and control pigeon populations, which helps maintain the integrity of our infrastructure.
With 2026 marking the 40th year of restoration efforts, it's inspiring to see how collaboration between MassDOT and MassWildlife has led to the successful hatching of 29 chicks at the Gillis Bridge alone!
