I am equally disgusted by the extremists expressing schadenfruede or using his killing as leverage for political jabs. STOP. IT. NOW.

You are confirming what the right wants to believe about you. You are driving away potential allies. You are making circumstances even more dangerous. You are “justifying” violent retribution from your right-wing doppelgängers.

Our reactions should be anchored in humanity, empathy, and fear for what this portends.

I love how one of the chief beneficiaries of GOP tax cuts for the wealthy, a guy who was happy to see your property taxes go up as a consequence, a guy who ran for US Congress twice and secured his wealth as a State Senator, now wants to go to D.C. to take down "career politicians" and "drain the swamp." A real national treasure, this guy.

Just saw Senator Dan Innis on WMUR-TV. He told the truth once or twice over the course of a ten minute interview--bravo--but it was the transparent, obsequious servility that really blew me away. Please, God, save us from gaslighters and those in it for the money, the fame, and the power. We've suffered enough.
