March & April Update!
Leaf and I earned our Land - Human Remains Detection certification in March, and attended a Historical Human Remains Detection seminar in TN a week later. We are both exhausted but very happy with how everything went! 🥳
So far, April seems to be a travel-free month for us; meaning we are back to scheduling training sessions like normal.

Leaf is running the latest firmware update: Do Not Eat the Cat v3.1. She is excelling despite the fact that Kiwi is essentially a sentient and appetizing roomba.
Andie is a field line lab, which means she is down to play fetch whenever, with whatever. Including the ChuckIt stick. 😂
Happy holidays! Sometimes your sister gets a present and you have to wait. (Okkoto is mentally playing "In the Arms of an Angel right now).
Leaf has not always settled like a pro. She's always had a nice "on" switch, and a good "idle" switch, but we had to build her "off" switch. She would catch herself nodding off and stay awake as long as she could. At one point we even thought she was having neurological problems - nope. Just FOMO. 🤦♂️ I swear our vet thought we were idiots. Nope, just anxious 🫠We were so happy the first time she fell asleep for real.
As far as Leaf is concerned, the world is her enrichment toy.
Okkoto is a showline German Shepherd. He was bred to be pretty. He is really good at being pretty.
When you live on a farm, you need to be ready for pony antics 🤦♂️
